Hi everyone!

My name is Gabriela Serpa, and I am currently a student at Cégep de Sherbrooke, where I am studying in graphic design program. I truly enjoy my program because it allows me to express my creativity while learning practical and artistic skills. Throughout my studies, I have worked on many different projects, which has helped me grow both creatively and professionally.

Graphic design is the art of visual communication. It combines creativity, technology, and problem-solving to communicate ideas through images, typography, colors, and layouts. Graphic designers create visuals for posters, logos, websites, advertisements, packaging, and many other media. Their work helps brands, companies, and organizations share messages in a clear and attractive way.

There are many career opportunities in graphic design. In the future, a graphic designer can work in advertising agencies, design studios, publishing, marketing, animation, web design, or even in large international companies. Graphic designers can also become freelancers, art directors, or specialize in areas such as motion design or user experience.

My dream is to continue my studies at university, graduate as a professional graphic designer, and eventually work for Disney. Creating visual worlds, characters, and stories that inspire people has always been my biggest goal, and graphic design is the path that will help me achieve it.
